ASTROFEST 2025

The 4th Annual Southeast Utah Astronomy Festival will be taking place June 20th, 21st, and 22nd this year. The festival will take place throughout each day in multiple locations including Arches National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Canyonlands National Park.

Dead Horse Point State Park– Saturday, June 21

6am-10pm: Self-guided Solar System Hike

9am-5pm: Dark Sky Activities located inside and outside the Visitor Center

1pm-3pm: Solar viewing outside the Visitor Center

9:30pm-11:30pm: Night Programs and Telescope viewing

Mountain Bike Parking Lot – “Constellation tour and Ranger Talk”
Visitor Center Parking Lot – “Constellation tour and Ranger Talk”
Telescope viewing will follow each of these programs at each location.

Weather: Telescope viewing may be canceled or affected by clouds or storms. Programs and telescope viewing may be canceled in the event of lightning.

Things to know: Parking may fill at program locations. We recommend arriving before 9 pm to secure a parking spot. Please bring a red flashlight, sturdy shoes, and a jacket.

All events are free with park admission.

Pets are discouraged. Please find suitable care for furry friends, as pets are not allowed at the program locations and leaving pets inside vehicles for the duration of the event is not recommended.
