3-Hour and 1-Hour Express Jet Boat Tours on the Colorado River

Join us for a Daytime Jet Boat Tour where your humorous guide will take you down a calm water stretch of the Colorado River south of Moab. You’ll get lost in the beauty of the canyons as we explore the scenery around each bend of the river. During the trip, we encourage you to ask your guide questions as he or she explains the geology and history of the Moab, Utah area and Colorado River. You’ll learn about films and commercials made right here in the Canyonlands and team up with other passengers to find wildlife along the banks of the river. It’s a great way to beat the heat and enjoy our beautiful area.

3-Hour Fun Run Jet Boat Tour

These three-hour tours are available in both the AM and PM trips and are a great way to beat the heat while enjoying the beauty of the Moab, Utah area. Join us in a covered boat for a journey down the calm-water section of the river as we make our way to an amazing part of the area. The 2,200 ft. canyon walls tower above as the guide skillfully navigates the river. Special features include a fossilized sea bed, wonderful views of arches, Indian petroglyphs, and a unique view of an Indian granary. We will pass the bottom of Dead Horse State Park, Thelma and Louise Point, and a natural amphitheater. The boat turns and heads back up the river to return to Canyonlands by Night and Day’s private dock located two miles north of Moab.

Timing

Choose from either the morning 9 AM – 12 PM or the afternoon trip from 1 PM – 4 PM. The adventure begins at Canyonlands by Night and Day’s riverside location (click for a map) two miles north of Moab, Utah; just north of the Colorado River. After checking in for the trip at our office, you’ll load either the Raven or Falcon jet boat and receive a safety orientation. Once everyone is boarded, we will glide down the Colorado River, passing remote side canyons with a chance of spotting wildlife and birds. The guide stops the boat along the way to point out interesting sights. You’ll travel 32 miles downriver until you reach the entrance of Canyonlands National Park. Time flies as you return to where the trip began three hours before.

1-hour Express Jet Boat Tour

Limited on time but want to experience the amazing Colorado River? The 1hr. Express Jet is the perfect jet boat tour. Morning and afternoon trips are available and both offer a great way to beat the heat and enjoy the beauty of the Canyonlands area. Join us for a journey down the calm-water section of the Colorado River in a covered boat to an amazing part of the area.

Our guide skillfully navigates the jet boat down the river and 2,200 ft. canyon walls tower above. The 1-Hour Express Jet includes wonderful views of Moab arches, Indian petroglyphs, and a unique view of an Indian granary. The boat returns to Canyonlands by Night and Day’s private dock after traveling approximately 20 miles round trip.

Once everyone is boarded, we will glide down the Colorado River, passing remote side canyons, where you might spot wildlife and birds. Your guide will answer any questions you ask, but will try to keep the trip moving, so you can see as much scenery as possible. This trip is great for families and anyone looking for an amazing quick trip on the Colorado River.
